Gary Rapps
Managing Director
As co-founder of the agency, Gary spent the early years being the face of Toucan, dealing with both new business and client servicing. His passion for the product and his engaging manner not only won significant briefs from a variety of sources, but retained an astonishing percentage of clients for over the 10 year mark. Gary’s character still drives the agency onwards and is a defining element in the Toucan experience.
Nina Rosi
Senior Account Director
Nina, another classically trained marketer, truly worships at the altar of detail. Her approach to running the agency's external functions leaves no stone unturned and no avenue ignored. Easily recognised in the office by her ability to hold two phone conversations at the same time, whilst simultaneously writing a Powerpoint presentation and supping her fourth tea of the morning, Nina will always have the answer at her fingertips. She is driven to provide solutions which deliver precisely as planned.
Mike Benns
Board Account Director
When Mike started Toucan with Gary, his remit was nuts and bolts. Handling the staff, the finances, the commercial decisions and the supplier relations cemented in him a solid sense of the realities of business. Now he looks after a range of FMCG clients offering solid project management skills with digital solutions as well as traditional media options all supported with creative excellence. Efficiency, practicality and delivering solutions which meet the client’s needs exactly are his stock in trade.
Mary Anne FitzGerald
Client Services Director
To our new clients, Mary Anne represents the front face of the agency and as such offers an abundance of energy and enthusiasm. Her ability to engage clients with her genuine interest in their sectors, allied to her quick understanding of how we might be able to offer assistance, is virtually unrivalled in our industry. Since she joined Toucan, new business growth has escalated to levels never before seen in the agency’s history.
Sam Lepore
Finance Director
Despite her Italian heritage, Sam runs the agency with all the efficiency of the Swiss railways! She is basically the Toucan-ite who keeps the whole show on the road making sure that internally we have an infrastructure to support the work we do for our clients. With all that on your plate, it takes a special person to also bring a bucket-load of sunshine into the office every day (except Mondays). Sam is truly priceless…

When it comes to directing her client portfolio Jane is always the consummate professional. Wonderfully talented and perfectly organised, Jane’s probably already completed that task you were starting to think about! Jane also holds the record for being the smiliest member of the Toucan team. Maybe it has something to do with the drawer of sweeties next to her desk!

Having grown up in France to British parents, bi-lingual Michelle's organised and structured approach to life ensure she's always in control and one step ahead of even the trickiest of predicaments. Her contagious zest for life and strong creative streak mean she's equally as good at coming up with winning campaign concepts as she is at bringing them to life through project management.

Gerry McEnroe

Behind Gerry's cool, calm and collected exterior lies an inexhaustible source of energy. By the time most people have woken up of a morning, Gerry has already cycled the eight miles to work, put the kettle on and written the coding for a new website. He might occasionally make us feel bad about not matching his level of physical output (five hours of tennis a week on top of the 16 miles a day cycling!) but it's a small price to pay for a talented and truly irreplaceable creative.
